My feed is not updating and my Instagram Business is not authorizing correctly.

"I have Full Control in Meta Business Manager, but I am still getting unauthorized errors and I don't know why!"

Meta/Facebook/Instagram have been making a lot of changes in the last bit and one of the changes that they have recently made affects how your authorizations with 3rd Party Apps work.

The biggest change is that when you connect your Instagram account to the Meta Business Manager, it does not automatically connect the account to your Facebook Business Page, which is what 3rd Party Apps use to connect to your data.

To ensure this is not affecting your account, please follow these steps:

Step 1:
Log into Facebook with the same account you have authorized in Foursixty, then click on the respective Business Page in the bottom-Left corner of the screen.

Step 2:
Once you arrive on the Business Page, click on the Switch button in the bottom-left to move over to the Page's profile (so you can access advanced settings), then click on the Switch button in the pop-up to confirm this action.

Step 3:
Once you successfully switch to the Page's profile, click on the Settings option in the left-hand menu.

Step 4:
After successfully entering the Settings area, please click on the Linked Accounts option in the left-hand menu.

Step 5:
Please click on Instagram and verify if your Instagram account is connected to the actual Facebook Business Page.
If it is not, you will see a screen like the image below and will need to connect Instagram to the Page so Foursixty can retrieve your images and Reels.

To make this connection, you will need to have the actual Instagram login information and be able to access any multi-factor authentication you have set up on that account.


Step 6:
Once you have this connected, your authorization in Foursixty should now work, but you may still need to remove the authorization in the Instagram Business area of the Networks menu, then re-add it for the updates to take effect in Foursixty.
